The wisdom of Solomon

In a programme called ‘Fat Men Never Hunt’ there is a tribe who catch and forage as much food as they can, and when they find food they are very happy, they then store some and eat some and their wisdom lies in this and the fact that they are content with the little that they eat.

On the other hand some example of no wisdom being used are: The ‘fat men,’ in ‘Fat Men Never Hunt’ or the British who were with this tribe in the Kalahari desert were never content with their food. At home the ‘fat men’ would have ample food but would hardly ever be happy, in fact they ate because they were not happy. This is an example of Proverb 17.1 ‘Better to eat a dry crust of bread with peace of mind than to have a banquet in a house full of trouble,’ the ‘trouble’ is shorter life-span, diseases and a bad image of themselves.

Thank You to All Friends of Postwick Church and Villagers and Friends and Family

I have recently had breast cancer and I am in the process of going through chemo which has been quite tiring and so sometimes I am unable to drive. Jaime, Henry and I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE
who have been able to help with getting Henry my son to playschool and nursery and with other chores I am finding hard to do.

A lot of people of Postwick and Brundall churches have also been praying for me and other people have been sending me lots of positive thoughts - thank you to you all.

What a great community spirit there is!!

Exciting!

At the highest point of the village stands proudly the grey stoned church. For 700 hundred years she has overlooked the river Yare. And now she can boast being on the world wide web!!
