Postwick Church is its people

A church to me is very much the people that made it, make it and and the one to come. I am not of the Anglican faith, born and raised as a catholic I drifted away like so many of my contemporaries towards uncertain shores; I saw the fear in the eyes of the Chinese when back in the eighties China just open its doors and life was worth the price of a bullet, I saw the respect for life in the Tibetan when during the monsoon season a worm would be left stranded in the heat of the day. The drift is still with me but so is this reaffirmed understanding that Christians are charitable people, forever engaged in giving, and today more than ever can I see this very generosity at work among those who make All Saints Church. In the next few month, with the help of my daughter Faerea I will attempt to sketch Postwick Church through the lives of those who kindly gave their time to relate their experience to us all. I thank those of you who will put their thoughts to this blog.

Spring has Sprung in Postwick

Here are a few photos of an early morning walk Sunday 11 March 2007 at approxmately 6.30 am to enjoy the lovely spring flowers and sunshine in Postwick. The weather in the last week has certainly changed with the glorious sunshine and mild weather. Hope it lasts!!
