Passing through the lych gate, and ready for a memorable evening, the Girl's choir are about to fill All Saints church with pieces from Mendelsshon, Handel, Purcell and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Full House.
The 21 pews could not accomodate all music lovers and 44 more chairs was brought in. Tried to squeeze 5 to a pew. Julian, the Choir Master, said it was the largest audience in a parochial church in his masterchip. Over 140. Where do you all come from!
Elated, overjoyed, we soared.
But....a bit of a blurry experience.
I saw tear in the audience, or was it my own. Wonderful accoustic. Amazing voices.
A truly professional performance, delivered with such lightness.
Thank you girls for such a wonderful evening given in the mist of your GCSE and A levels revisions.
I will certainly go one Tuesday to the Norwich Cathedral to listen to you sing the Evensong.
